In the coast of coral reefs, fish farming and other aqua farming projects are difficult to conduct and there are many issues need to be discussed. It may create sludge from the leftover food which affects the eco-system of coral reefs.
Can there be any solutions without soiling seabed for cultivating fish, shellfishes, and seaweed? There is a wonderful example such as an oyster that can supply not only food resource but also helpe purify sea water. There must be methods of increasing the production of marine resources without smearing the beautiful sea of an island. (Oshiro 9/20/2009) |
